Southeast Asia is the fastest-growing region for games, and with and up-and-coming gaming ecosystem, the SEA Summit is well positioned to become a key industry event for the region.

GameStart 2017 is home to all things gaming, and this year, we will be bringing the world’s first AR Techno Sports to Singapore, thanks to HADO Singapore! HADO is the first instance of esports utilizing wearable devices and AR (augmented reality) technology using head mounted displays and motion sensors. Imagine fighting giant monsters, throwing fireballs, or driving karts!  Forget cables and being restricted in front of the screen, experience true movement with the new kind of esports.

Eric M. Lang is the Director of Game Design at CMON and has been a tabletop industry veteran for over 20 years. During his time in the industry, he has worked with several high-profile companies, including Wizards of the Coast, WizKids, and Fantasy Flight Games, and has designed games based on Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones. With CMON, Eric has designed several beloved games, including Blood Rage, Arcadia Quest, Bloodborne: The Card Game, and more. In 2016, Eric was the recipient of the Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming. Other accolades include multiple The Dice Tower Awards and five Origins Awards.

Back by popular demand, Vera Chimera is one of Australia’s most accredited veteran cosplayers, best known for her role as live-action Lilith in Borderlands 2 and her regular collaborations with Blizzard’s Overwatch team. She’s a charismatic and humble individual who lends her skills in costume making, prop design, acting, and panel hosting, and is also an avid motorcycle enthusiast.

Kerrie, otherwise known as AstroKerrie, is a well-known Australian cosplayer that also loves to LARP! The winner of several awards including the Perth round of the 2016 Comic Con Championships of Cosplay and the 2015 Riot Australia League of Legends Cosplay competition, in the LARPing world she is also the Ambassador for Australia’s largest LARP company, Epic Armoury. She is excited to be at Gamestart this year to meet the community in Singapore!

Hailing from neighbouring Malaysia, Ying Tze will be appearing at GameStart 2017, presented by BANDAI NAMCO ENTERTAINMENT ASIA! She is one of Asia’s most renowned and popular cosplayer and fashion/costume Designer. Besides cosplay and costume making, she is an avid cat-lover, plays video games and does game live-streaming as well. Known for her friendly personality and interaction with her fans, Ying Tze has amassed over 137,000 fans on Facebook alone. She has also been guested at many anime and game events in both the Asia and Australasia region.
