Mobile Suit Gundam celebrates 40-year milestone

by GameStart Asia

40-years since Sunrise Inc. introduced us to pew pew mechas in Universal Century Year 0079, Mobile Suit Gundam (MSG) has spawned a universe of anime, manga, movies, and video games. The popularity of the series shows no signs of waning.

You might have to wait at least 160 years before an RX-78-2 Gundam comes to life, but you can get your hands on collectibles right now!

Uniqlo printed T-shirts

What better way to display your Gundam pride than with a shirt?

In collaboration with Uniqlo, a series of 12 unique tees. My favourite is the stunning collage which forms the icionic RX-78-2. Check out the others at Uniqlo’s online store.

Sangoku Soketsuden SD Gundam

Don’t have space for scale-sized models of your favourite Gundam? No worries Bandai’s got you covered with these special palm-sized Gundams inspired by The Romance of The Three Kingdoms.

This series of 9 Gundams are released in conjunction with 2 comic series (April) and an official animation (July). At the moment, 6 of these Sangoku Soketsuden SD Gundam have been released while the other 3 will be available from May 2019:
