Street Fighter League EU Grand Finals: One Match Remains

The Street Fighter League EU 2023 season is coming to an end this week, with the grand finals between BMS ESPORTS and 00 Nation taking place on Friday, February 2, 2024. The two teams have fought their way through the regular season and the playoffs, and are now ready to face each other for the ultimate glory and the €60,000 prize pool.

The Finalists

BMS ESPORTS have been the dominant force in the league, finishing the regular season with an impressive 8-2 record and 285 points. The team consists of some of the best European players, such as Kilzyou, Mister Crimson, Akainu, and Valmaster, who have shown great synergy and versatility with their character choices. BMS ESPORTS have move in the grand finals due to being first place and was waiting for their chance to play.

00 Nation, on the other hand, have been the underdogs of the league, starting the regular season with a 2-4 record and 95 points. However, the team have made a remarkable comeback in the second half of the season, winning four consecutive matches and securing the third place with a 6-4 record and 215 points. The team also features some of the most talented and creative players in Europe, such as Phenom, Veggey, Lord Venom, and Rikemanbarnet, who have surprised their opponents with their unconventional strategies and character picks. 00 Nation have also proven their resilience in the playoffs, defeating BK ROG Esports and MOUZ in close matches during the playoffs.

Finals Format

The grand finals will be a best-of-three series, with each team battle consisting of three matches. The away team will have to declare their player order and character selection before the battle begins, while the home team will be able to adjust their players and characters as the battle progresses. The first match will be a first-to-two, the second match will be a first-to-two, and the third match will be a first-to-three. After the first 3 sets of matches, the teams rotate so the away team becomes the home team and vise versa. The team with the most points at the end of the series will be crowned as the champions of the Street Fighter League EU 2023 season.

The grand finals will be broadcasted live on the official Street Fighter League website and Twitch on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 18:00 GMT. The event will also feature commentary from Logan Sama, Jammerz, and F-Word, who will provide insights and analysis on the matches.
