The World Says Goodbye to Akira Toriyama

The whole world came to a halt as at 10PM Eastern March 7th, Dragon Ball Official posted the following statement of Akira Toriyama unfortunate passing. Various members from film, gaming, anime, and much more took the time to pause as the world stands still as news of his passing swept across the globe. Throughout the next few days, various people and companies paid tribute. Each sharing a unified message of respect and admiration for a man whose vision shaped an entire industry.

It would be no exaggeration that Akira Toriyama did plenty for the world as a world. From childhood to adulthood he made characters and stories that lasted a lifetime and moments that are memorable for many. One thing is for sure, however, his legacy will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace, Toriyama-san.
